Day 1: Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Aiport - Arusha City.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you'll be greeted by our friendly driver for a smooth transfer to Arusha. As you make your way to the city, take in the scenic views of Mt. Meru and the surrounding landscapes. Settle in at Gold Crest Hotel, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel as you prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead!
Day 2: Arusha City - Tarangire National Park.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. As we enter the park, you'll begin your first thrilling game drive, observing wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and many species of birds. The Tarangire River, the park's lifeline during the dry season, attracts a variety of animals, offering fantastic wildlife sightings. Break for a picnic lunch inside the park and continue with an afternoon game drive. After a full day of adventure, you'll head to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge for dinner and a comfortable night!
Day 3: Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast, we’ll set off for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its breathtaking scenery and tree-climbing lions. As you drive through the park, you'll witness the rich birdlife, with flamingos painting the lakeshore pink, and perhaps spot elephants wandering through the forest. We’ll break for a delicious picnic lunch amidst this serene environment before continuing the game drive. In the late afternoon, we’ll head to Hhando Coffee Lodge in Karatu, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the coffee plantations!
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Overnight at Serengeti National Park.
Today, after breakfast, we journey to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. Descend into the crater for a spectacular game drive. Home to over 30,000 animals, including black rhinos, lions, and elephants, the crater offers some of the best wildlife sightings in Africa. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, we’ll ascend and proceed to Central Serengeti for an overnight stay at Intimate Camps Seronera, experiencing game viewing along the way!
Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Overnight at Ndutu.
After a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, where you’ll have the chance to witness the Serengeti’s famous big cats and other wildlife, enjoy lunch before heading to the Ndutu Area in Southern Serengeti. The drive will take you through the plains, with opportunities for game viewing en route. Upon arrival at Sero Tented Camp, settle in for a cozy evening under the African sky!
Day 6: Full Day Ndutu Area Game Drive.
Today, enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the Ndutu Area, a prime location for witnessing the great wildebeest calving season from December to March. During this time, you’ll see thousands of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators such as lions and cheetahs, who are particularly active in this area. You’ll have a bush lunch in the heart of the Serengeti before continuing your wildlife adventure in the afternoon. As the day draws to a close, return to Sero Tented Camp for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay!
Day 7: Ndutu Area - Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport & Departure.
If time allows and the weather is favorable, start your day with an early morning game drive in the Ndutu Area, observing wildlife as the sun rises. However, if your flight departs early, the morning will be spent enjoying a scenic transfer back, where you can admire the stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater from above as you head to the airport for your departure!
