Your contract is with Nature Joy Discoveries (NJD or we). Please carefully review the following terms and conditions, which apply to all bookings and correspondence with us. By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions, constituting a binding agreement between you and NJD.

Booking Procedure:

NJD will tailor your holiday to meet your specific requirements. A binding contract between us is formed when:

~ We receive a deposit of 30% of the quoted price.

~ We receive full payment for the holiday if the booking is made less than 45 days before your departure date.

No contract exists until we receive these payments. Full payment is required 45 days before departure. Failure to make full payment by this time may result in the cancellation of your booking, subject to cancellation charges as outlined below.

Medical Conditions and Disabilities:

If you or any member of your party have any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect your holiday, please inform us before confirming your booking. We reserve the right to decline bookings or cancel them if we are unable to accommodate specific needs due to a lack of information provided at the time of booking.

Documentation:

Review all documentation, including your confirmation invoice and tickets, upon receipt. Notify us immediately of any inaccuracies within 7 days. You are responsible for rectifying any errors after this period.

Payment Terms:

Tour packages are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit, with the balance due 45 days before arrival. Cancellation fees apply as detailed below.

Cancellation Policy:

~ Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to departure will incur a 20% retention fee.

~ Cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to departure will incur a 50% retention fee.

~ Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to departure will result in a 100% retention fee, and all outstanding payments will become due immediately.

~ If a replacement is found no less than 14 days before departure, no retention fee will be applied; otherwise, a 100% cancellation penalty will apply.

Pricing Itineraries:

The price of your itinerary is based on known costs at the date of issue. We may levy a surcharge if costs increase, but you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund if the surcharge exceeds 10% of the total holiday price before 60 days of arrival.

Travel Insurance:

At Nature Joy Discoveries, your safety is paramount. While we do not provide travel insurance directly, we highly recommend all our clients to obtain comprehensive travel insurance from their home country. This should include essential coverage like medical expenses, evacuation, and repatriation. We urge clients to extend their coverage to include potential situations such as trip cancellation and unexpected expenses due to loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience. Ensuring your insurance provider is aware of the specifics of your travel plans guarantees comprehensive coverage tailored to your journey. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Amendments By You:

Changes are subject to fees based on your amendments and must be requested in writing.

Cancellation By Nature Joy Discoveries:

We reserve the right to cancel your holiday for any reason before full payment. We are not liable for events beyond our control (force majeure) but will refund recoverable monies.

Changes By Nature Joy Discoveries:

We reserve the right to make minor changes. Major changes allow you to accept new arrangements, choose another holiday, or cancel with a full refund.

Liability:

We accept no liability for carrier-related issues, including cancellations, delays, or lost luggage. Clients are responsible for travel documents, visas, and vaccinations.

Governing Law:

These terms are governed by Tanzanian law. Tanzanian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

Marketing:

NJD reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing and advertising purposes. By participating in our tours, you consent to the use of such media material.

Payment Method:

~ Online Credit Card: Paying with a credit card incurs a 3.5% bank surcharge. This method allows for swift confirmation of reservations without extensive bank procedures.

Below are our bank details, and we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. This is the fastest and easiest method of payment, as it avoids the necessity of complying with numerous banking procedures. However, please note that there is a 3.5% charge on top of the trip cost for credit card usage, which goes directly to the bank and not Nature Joy Discoveries.

~ Wire Transfer: Alternatively, you can choose to make payment via wire transfer. Please contact us for our bank details if you prefer this method.

Why Use Credit Card Payment?

Credit card payment is the quickest way to confirm reservations, ensuring prompt processing. The 3.5% bank charge is levied by financial institutions, not by NJD.
