Day 1: Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha City.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for a relaxing evening. You can take this time to rest and recover from your journey or explore the vibrant city of Arusha, depending on your arrival time. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you can spend the evening preparing for the thrilling safari adventure ahead!
Day 2: Arusha City - Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, your safari adventure truly begins as you head to Tarangire National Park, a wildlife haven known for its vast elephant herds, picturesque baobab trees, and the Tarangire River that sustains an incredible diversity of animals. As you enter the park, embark on a game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators such as lions and leopards. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park amidst the stunning scenery. After lunch, continue your exploration of the park, watching as animals gather around the river in the afternoon to quench their thirst. After a full day of wildlife encounters, you'll transfer to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and a well-deserved rest!
Day 3: Karatu - Central Serengeti.
Today, after an early breakfast, you will make your way to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoy breathtaking views of the highlands and keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. Upon arriving in the Central Serengeti, your game drive will begin immediately. The Central Serengeti, known for its open savannahs and abundance of wildlife, offers the opportunity to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the park and then continue your game drive, exploring this iconic region where the wildlife action never stops. By late afternoon, you’ll head to your camp for dinner and overnight under the stars!
Day 4: Central Serengeti (Full Day Game Drive).
After breakfast, prepare for a full day of exploration in the Central Serengeti, one of Africa's premier wildlife viewing areas. The day will be spent searching for wildlife across the expansive plains, including the famous Big Cats—lions lounging on kopjes, cheetahs prowling the grasslands, and leopards resting in the trees. Herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles can also be seen, particularly during the migration season. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Serengeti. As the sun begins to set, you'll return to your camp for dinner and relaxation, reminiscing about the incredible wildlife sightings of the day!
Day 5: Central Serengeti - Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area).
After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a transfer from Central Serengeti to the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area, the calving grounds of the Great Migration. As you journey south, a game drive will take place en route, offering more opportunities to spot wildlife, particularly the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras that gather here during the calving season. The Ndutu region is also a prime area for predator action, as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas follow the migration, taking advantage of the young and vulnerable calves. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before arriving at your camp in the evening for dinner and a peaceful night under the African sky!
Day 6: Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area) Full Day.
Today is dedicated to exploring the vast Ndutu plains during the height of the calving season. After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive across the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area, where the landscape is dotted with thousands of newborn wildebeest calves. This is a special time of year, as the Great Migration gathers in the southern plains to give birth, and the action is nonstop as predators patrol the area in search of prey. The open grasslands also provide fantastic photographic opportunities. A picnic lunch will be served amid the wilderness, allowing you to soak in the beauty of your surroundings before continuing your game drive. Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and a relaxing evening!
Day 7: Ndutu Area to Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu.
After an early breakfast, you will depart Ndutu and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most unique wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The crater’s lush floor and permanent water sources support an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, and lions. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot some of Africa's most iconic species. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the crater, providing a chance to relax while surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. After your game drive, you’ll ascend the crater and drive to Karatu for your final night on safari, where dinner will be served!
Day 8: Karatu - Lake Manyara - Transfer to Airport & Departure.
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before heading to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park famous for its diverse birdlife and tree-climbing lions. A game drive through the park offers the chance to spot elephants, giraffes, and large troops of baboons, as well as hippos cooling off in the lake. After a picnic lunch, you’ll begin your drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, bringing your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure to an end!
